Insight Fellows Go to Israel

The Insight Fellowship Israel Program was held over nine days in March. The program was packed with a variety of speakers and activities that allowed the fellows to gain fresh perspectives on several thematic areas including current events, coexistence, inclusivity, innovation, Israeli arts and culture and environmental initiatives. Highlights of the trip included visiting local non-profit organizations funded by the Schusterman Foundation – Israel; meeting with Dalia Rabin at the Rabin Center; hearing from Aluf Benn, the diplomatic editor of the Israeli daily Haaretz covering Israel’s leadership and foreign relations; and receiving a tour of Jewish, Muslim, Christian and Druze communities in Northern Israel.

The nine Insight Fellows have now entered their second work placement at various Jewish non-profit organizations in New York City and Washington DC.
