Birthright Israel NEXT (BRI NEXT) offers programming in North America to alumni of Taglit-Birthright Israel trips to help them continue their Jewish journeys. CLI is working with BRI NEXT to offer professional development to its staff. A key element of BRI NEXT’s program is a cadre of Local Directors tasked with developing and implementing programming in eight cities across America. The model of the Local Director is a new and unique role in the Jewish community. This professional development program focuses on skills and other training components to strengthen the BRI NEXT professional cohort and to maximize their effectiveness in the field.
